Commit yourself NOW to God’s dream!

In discovering this dream, your life will never be the same again! Today is the beginning of the rest of your life! You had never seen your life through God’s eyes like this before! Going back to your environment could be a little frightening. But the Holy Spirit who dwells in you, can make a way where there seems to be no way. So have courage! Be passionate to live God’s dream! Allow the Spirit who dwells in you to think outside the box, to be creative so that the Father’s Will for you will be actualised.

Pay attention to the mentality of the world that surrounds you. Just observe how strange it is. The people from the countries that have the most, feel like they have the least. People that live in countries that have the most reason to be happy, seem to have the least amount of happiness. This is because they are comparing themselves with the wrong model. Through specific scientific methods, the person’s freedom is being engulfed and altered by “false models” promoted by some consumerist empires.  A human mentality that suggests that “the trick upon which the success of market economics turns is the creation of desire where there is no need” (Mark C. Taylor, Confidence Games: Money and Markets in a World without redemption, (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 2004), p. 385). Such trickery led the corporate world of the early twentieth century to redefine the human being as an unstable machine or animal “governed by an infinity of desires” William Leach, Land of desire: Merchants, Power, and raise of a New American Culture, (New York: Pantheon Books, 1993), p. 385.  This happened in order to replace the economic necessity of earlier societies with the necessity of the endless economic growth, it was necessary to replace the satisfaction of basic human needs with “ceaseless manufacture of pseudo-needs” (Guy Debord, The society of Spectacle, (New York: Zone books, 1994), pp. 33-34).

Are they tricking you in comparing yourselves to others who have more? They are spending billions fooling you, by falsely giving you an image of happiness that does not exist. A happiness that depends on your look, on your car, on your mobile, on your vacation… They are tricking you into thinking that by acquiring their product, idea or project, you will be happy.

So, never play their game. Never compare yourself with what you hear and see. Never compare yourself with others. It doesn’t matter how great you are, if you are not grateful for who you are and what you have, you’ll never be happy.  There’s always going to be someone who has more money than you. There will always be someone doing better than you, someone fitter than you, someone better-looking than you. If you are always comparing yourself, you’ll always lose.

One thing other people will never have over you, is they are not you! Your greatest asset is that you are unique. Just follow your heart. Discover the God within, and you will have a happiness that can go far and beyond anything you have ever imagined. Happiness that stretches to eternity. Happiness that no one can take away from you neither “hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword” (Romans 8:35).  Nothing “will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39), till one day you will that

“the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away […].
Those who conquer will inherit these things,
and I will be their God and they will be my children. 
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted,
the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters,
and all liars, their place will be in the lake that
burns with fire and sulfur,
which is the second death.” 
(Revelations 21:3-4, 7-8).

So focus on who you are. Live the dream. Live God’s Dream within you! Trust him, and he will do the rest. Allow God to continue to live in this world through all your being. Through your hands. Through your mouth. Through your eyes. Your Creativity. Live God’s Eternal Dream in you! This is the only chance you have.
